Nominations are open for the 2022 Outstanding Senior Citizen awards. An award is given to both a man and a woman age 70 or older.

Nomination forms are available online at http://www.co.carlton.mn.us and detail what the person has done for others in your organization or community after reaching age of 60. Feel free to discuss the application with the nominee and collect needed volunteer activity information.

Send the information to the Barnum Area Senior Citizens, 3794 Main St., Barnum MN 55707, by July 15. If you have any questions, contact Gary Peterson at 218-380-4949. Outstanding seniors will be recognized for their service at the award ceremony at the Carlton County fairgrounds at noon Aug. 19.
