Members of the Andy Peterson Quartet play next to the fountain Friday evening at the Oldenburg House in Carlton, on the first day of the fifth annual Honey Bee Festival Aug 5-6.

There was magic in the air at the Oldenburg House last weekend, along with plenty of music. Revelers could find a jazz quartet and a mermaid at the pool, a maypole and dancing, riotous music under the big tent, a yurt down by the river, and lots of pro-pollinator activities for young and old alike. Pine Knot photographers were there, to enjoy all the fun.
