September 2, 2022

Judith Mae "Judy" Alderson, 81, of Carlton passed away peacefully in her home Friday, Aug. 26, 2022, with family by her side. She was born April 21, 1941, in Minneapolis to Edwin and Phyllis Grabow. Judy married F. Lee Alderson in Minnetonka on May 2, 1964.

She loved spending time outside gardening, being by the river, fishing when able, and having fires. Judy was an active member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church for 40-plus years. She worked in the office, taught Sunday school, and helped with the preschool children at Our Savior's Lutheran Church during that time.

Judy and Lee raised many animals over the years, but their greatest accomplishment was raising their daughter. Judy was a wonderful grandma to Clayton and Mikeena. She lived her life caring for others.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and beloved husband, Lee. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Sandra (Ron); grandson Clayton (Mary); granddaughter Mikeena (Bronson); brother Ken (Carol); nephews Brian (Yuko), Brad and Jeff (Miranda); niece Jenny (Hans); many great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, aunt, and friends; and her beloved cat, Kitty.
