Big, beautiful balloons fly over Cromwell

New to the annual Cromwell Harvest Fest this year was a hot air balloon festival on the athletic fields at Cromwell-Wright High School. Hosted by the Sweetly Kismet Candy Store - which has its own balloon - five balloonists offered tethered rides for $20 each. It was a popular, visually stunning event. Other Harvest Festival activities - included a pie social, face painting, a kiddie parade, dancing and a horse show.
