Obituary: Betty Arlene Kubis

Betty Arlene Kubis, 88, of Saginaw passed away Sunday, Sept. 18, 2022, in Community Memorial Hospital in Cloquet. She was born Oct. 3, 1933, in Wimbledon, North Dakota to Edward and Anna Christ. She married Arthur Kubis on May 9, 1952. Betty was a homemaker and also worked in a grocery store as a meat wrapper. She enjoyed her farm in Saginaw.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Art; and brother, Edward.

Betty will be deeply missed by her family. She is survived by her children, Ron "Bucky" Kubis and Donna (Rick) Maki, both of Saginaw; two special grandchildren, Jennifer (Dewey) Johnson of Saginaw and Jason (Kristina) Maki of Saginaw; special great-grandchildren, Madison, Kaitlin Parker and Dawson; her twin sister, Barbara Sizer, of Jamestown, North Dakota; special friend, Roy Jerde; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Saturday, Sept. 24 in Atkins Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th St., Cloquet. A luncheon will follow the service.
