When can a person dress up for Halloween with hundreds of other people of all ages to run a 5-kilometer race through Cloquet? During the annual Pumpkin Run and Walk, that’s when.

Hosted and organized by Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College, this year’s event is set to begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22. The 5K (3.1-mile) race will begin and end on campus. The event is open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities.

Participants are encouraged to wear costumes or orange clothing. Prizes will be given for the best costumes and top runners in each age group.
