The Section 7A champion Eskomos struggled against No. 4 seed St. Anthony in a state quarterfinal game late Thursday afternoon.
St. Anthony erupted for four goals in the first half to race to a 4-2 victory over No. 5 Esko at Kuhlman Stadium in Edina. Senior forward Anna Isaacson and senior midfielder Eileen Cardona had two goals each in the first half when the Huskies (12-3-1) built a 4-1 advantage.
