Carlton junior Luuke Korpela reached the 1,000-point career mark on Thursday night as the Bulldogs downed Cook County 88-58 at home in front of a raucous crowd.

Korpela was named to the Polar League All-Conference first team for the second year in a row and was also named the Polar League Conference Schools MVP last week.

Korpela wears the number 15. When he scored at the 9:39 mark of the first half, his shot gave the Bulldogs a 15-7 lead in a game they went on to win.
