Nancy “Susie” Ann Parsons, 86, of Cloquet, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth. She was born Sept. 23, 1936, in Cloquet, the daughter of Harold and Marie (Freve) Hennum.

Susie worked for Northwest Paper in Cloquet for 15 years and also as an apartment manager in Minneapolis for several years, then moved back to Cloquet as a caregiver for her mother.

Susie had many special friends. She had a great sense of humor and loved playing cards with friends and family until she no longer could due to her debilitating disease.

Susie was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings.

She will be sadly missed by her three sisters, Virginia Salo, Yvonne Terwey, and Mary Lee Jensen; special nephew, Greg Terwey; special friend, Jan Nicolai; and especially her nephew, Eddie Hennum, who took care of her for the last 10 years; and numerous other nieces, nephews, and friends.

A graveside service will be held at New Calvary Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are with Nelson Funeral Care of Cloquet.
