A benefit for the Janae Sjodin family will take place 2-6 p.m. Saturday at the Four Seasons Sports Complex and Event Center in Carlton. Janae, a senior at Wrenshall High School, was severely injured in a car crash in late March and remained in a Duluth hospital this week, unconscious due to a head injury and healing from surgeries for multiple broken bones. Organizers of the event plan a barbeque pork dinner, bake sale and silent auction. All proceeds will go to the family and cash or checks will be accepted.
