Cloquet senior Ava Carlson notched her 1,000th career kill to open Tuesday night's volleyball match at Rock Ridge High School in Virginia. The Lumberjacks swept the Wolverines 3-0 and improved their record to 10-1. Carlson finished with 16 kills and 13 digs in a 25-11, 25-9, 25-17 win. After the match, the Cloquet volleyball team celebrated with Carlson with signs to mark the achievement.
