Trick-or-treaters hit downtown Carlton

Despite cooler temperatures and a lingering snow, trick or treaters made the rounds Tuesday evening on Sixth Street in Cloquet.
The popular Trick-or-Treat event in downtown Carlton Saturday once again drew a big crowd, despite some downright chilly weather. There were plenty of creative costumes and entries into the scarecrow contest, along with the regular business of handing out candy. It was a good practice run for Halloween three days later, when snow joined the cold.
