A restricted crossing U-turn, or J-turn, outside Kwik Trip in Carlton will be installed either this fall or next spring in Carlton just off Interstate 35. The combination state and Carlton County project is being installed to make the intersection of highways 61 and 210 safer, especially with increased traffic anticipated with the opening of the new courthouse and jail on County Highway 61.
