Pat Bond enjoys a quiet moment Thursday before more people arrive for the Dusty Boot Tour to visit model apartments at the new Carlton Lofts, located in the former Cloquet Middle School building. Bond was looking for an apartment for her son, with her husband, Pat, who went to school in the building. The 35 apartments in the west wing of the building are expected to be finished and ready for occupancy in December, but the 22 units in the older east wing will be done in 2020, according to the developer.
