Mark Rhoades, contracting for AIM Electronics of Eden Prairie, installs a new scoreboard and shot clocks inside Wrenshall School gymnasium on Monday. A fundraising committee raised nearly $40,000 for the scoreboard that will serve Carlton/Wrenshall Raptors boys and girls basketball games, as well as volleyball games. Beginning with the 2023-24 season, shot clocks in basketball are required by the Minnesota State High School League in order to host home games. "They look awesome," board member Ben Johnson said. The school board agreed unanimously to continue to keep the scoreboard committee intact in order to turn its attention to fundraising to replace the vintage football field scoreboard.
