Lumberjack boys pick up elusive first win

ST. PAUL-The Cloquet-Esko-Carlton boys hockey team picked up its first win of the season Saturday night as the Lumberjacks defeated the Eagan Wildcats 5-3. CEC was playing its second weekend doubleheader in the Twin Cities this season and was searching for the first win after a 4-3 loss Friday to Bloomington Jefferson at the Bloomington Ice Garden.
Landon Langenbrunner scored twice and added an assist in the two-goal victory Saturday. The Lumberjacks - who have one of the toughest schedules in the state this season - had dropped their first five contests, four of those losses coming to stat...
