The new year has brought a severe water problem at our home. First of all, the power went out for several hours in the cold weather on Jan. 2, so I think our waterlines and/or the pump froze. As I write this, we have been without water for several days in the house. I’m hoping that by the time you read this, it is fixed, but we have had to be pretty creative in how we use the bathroom, wash dishes, or clean ourselves up, etc. It sure helps that we have a lot of snow on the ground, as it came in handy to melt it and then use the melted snow water to flush the toilets. Makes one wonder how...
