Jenny M. Benkoski, 96, of Moose Lake and formerly of Saginaw, died peacefully Monday, March 4, 2019, in Augustana Mercy Health Care Center in Moose Lake.
Jenny was born Aug. 1, 1922, in Duluth and lived most of her life in Saginaw where she attended school through the eighth grade. She later graduated from Brookston High School.
Her parents owned and operated a dairy farm named Hillendale Farm in Saginaw. Jenny and her brothers helped run the business and delivered milk to much of Duluth and Proctor. Jenny later worked at the Saginaw Store, which was owned and operated by Frank Benkoski....
