A man’s body was found Wednesday in Canosia Township.

According to a press release from the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, positive identification will be determined by the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office. Due to the circumstances, the sheriff’s office believes the remains are likely those of Julian Daniel Decoux, a group home resident missing since May 5. The body was discovered in a location approximately two miles west of the group home. The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, volunteers and group home staff had searched the area extensively since then.
