Car/train accident injures woman

An Esko area woman and boy were injured when the car they were in was struck by a train Saturday.
According to a press release from the Carlton County Sheriff’s Office, dispatch received a report of a car-train accident on East Stark Road in Thomson Township at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7.
According to the sheriff’s office, 41-year-old Brianna Johnson was driving, and a 10-year-old boy was a passenger in the vehicle.
