Obituaries: Audrey Monianne O. Rimolde

Audrey M. Rimolde, 83, of Wrenshall passed away March 21, 2020.

She was born Feb. 15, 1937, in Duluth, the daughter of John and Mildred (Wilcox) Ostman.

Audrey enjoyed going to rummage sales, working in her yard and taking pictures of her flowers. She and her husband Ben enjoyed road trips, dancing, riding motorcycle and camping. They enjoyed camping so much that they bought and operated Park Lake Resort 1977 through 1990. In her later years, she enjoyed watching television and visiting with her family. She always loved listening to Elvis' music and watching his movies as well. She was usually up for a trip to Sammy's Pizza and could be talked into playing bingo with her friends at Garden Terrace.

Audrey was preceded in death by her parents; former husband, Benedict Rimolde; and brothers Lyle and Dan Ostman.

She is survived by three sons, John (Sharon) Rimolde, Joseph (Ginny) Rimolde, and Jay (Lisa) Rimolde; one daughter, Dot (Rollie) Rounsville; one brother, Paul (Mary) Ostman; one sister-in-law, Nancy Ostman; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Tuesday, July 14 at SonLife Community Church in Wrenshall. Luncheon will follow in the social hall. The interment service was held March 24 at Oneota Cemetery in Duluth. Funeral arrangements are with Nelson Funeral Care of Cloquet.
