Norval E. Doddridge, 85, of Osceola, Wisconsin, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020. He was born to Norval and Caroline (Habhegger) Doddridge in Cloquet.

Norval married Lavina New on Nov. 10, 1956, and they enjoyed 64 years together. He loved going on trips and cruises with Lavina, Richard and Donna, and Bud and Janet, and other friends and family. Norval also enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, as well as joining in on family events and celebrations.

Norval was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lavina; and his son Glen Doddridge.

He is survived by his daughter, Brenda (Kevin) Howard of Hudson, Wisconsin; son Norval Doddridge Jr. (Marie) of Medford, Oregon; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. memorial service Saturday, Nov. 14 at Nelson Funeral Care in Cloquet. Pastor Chris Hill will officiate. Military Honors will be accorded by the Cloquet Combined Honor Guard.
