A 7-year-old boy died in an ATV crash Friday, May 21 in southern Carlton County.

According to a Carlton County press release, Drew Nordstrom was a backseat passenger in a side-by-side ATV that rolled over and on top of him.

Sheriff’s office deputies, members of the Moose Lake Fire Department and Essentia EMS responded to the crash on private property off County Road 13 in Moose Lake Township at 6:21 p.m. Friday.
