Members Cooperative Credit Union selected 11 college-bound seniors for $10,000 in scholarships recently, including Amanda Paul of Cloquet ($500), and Olivia Bogenholm of Moose Lake ($500).
Esko Apostolic Church presented its first scholarship award of $2,000 to Grace Liupakka, who plans to attend University of Minnesota Duluth in the fall and focus on social work studies. She was awarded the scholarship based on her ability, work ethic, career plans, and a written statement of her faith. The church intends to award a scholarship annually.
