The 14th annual Cloquet River Run will take place Saturday, Oct. 2. The Cloquet River Run is a fundraising activity offering a 1-mile or 5K run/walk that promotes healthy lifestyles in our children and community, organized by the Churchill parents group since 2007.

Both races start and end at the Churchill elementary school playground. The “little kids race” gives children up to age 6 the opportunity to participate in a short sprint on the playground field at 10:45 a.m. This year’s schedule includes registration and packet pickup 5-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1 or 8-8:45 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 2. The 1-mile race/walk begins at 9 a.m. while the 5K run/walk begins at 9:30 a.m. The awards ceremony begins at 11 a.m.
