Adeline F. Hanson, 92, of Carlton, passed away Dec. 22, 2021, at Inter-Faith Care Center. She was born Feb. 10, 1929, in Erskine, Minnesota, the daughter of Carl and Julia Anderson. Adeline was married to Oris G. Hanson on April 24, 1952, in Erskine. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, family dinners, and especially spending time with her family.

Adeline was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Oris Hanson; son Kenneth Hanson; daughter JoAnn Wargin; brothers, Melvin and Julian Hanson; and a great-grandson, Ezra.

She is survived by her children, Duane (Lynn) Hanson, Diane (Bill) Hollenbeck, and Barbara (Stuart) Green; grandchildren, Brandy (Rob) Unzen, Trina (Brandon) Johnson, Joshua Green, Melissa (Steve) VanHeel, Jason (Jessica) Hollenbeck, Sarah (Chris) Keeler, Jeremy (Joanna) Hollenbeck, Angela (Ben) Altonen, Koby (Caroline) Wargin, Alyssa (Zack Bauer) Wargin, and Haley (Cameron Shephard) Wargin; 29 great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Dean Wargin; sister-in-law, Delores Fladhammer; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family would like to express their thanks and gratitude to the staff at Inter-Faith Care Center for the excellent care given to Adeline.

A private family graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in Cloquet. A memorial service will be held at a future date. Arrangements are with Nelson Funeral Care of Cloquet.
