Betty L. Hilton, 87, passed away Jan. 25, 2022, at Community Memorial Hospital in Cloquet.

Betty was born Nov. 8, 1934, in Cloquet, the daughter of Charles and Matilda (Loisel) Rodgers. Betty was a very good mother and grandmother. She enjoyed reading, visiting friends and family, and was a loving, caring lady. Betty was a devoted Christian at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Virgil Hilton; and two sons, David and Timothy Hilton. She is survived by her daughter, Lindy Hilton; grandson, Brett Johnson; granddaughter, Katie Johnson; and great-grandsons, Jaxon Peterson and Nixon Mitchell.

In accordance with her wishes, a private family graveside service will be held at Old Calvary Cemetery.

Arrangements are with Nelson Funeral Care of Cloquet.
