Obituary: Stacy Lea (Golden) Beckes

Stacy Lea (Golden) Beckes passed away very peacefully Jan. 23, 2022, surrounded by her family in her home. She was born on Aug. 22, 1966, in Cloquet, to Clifford and Catherine (Maack) Golden. Stacy grew up in Cloquet with her siblings, Gloria, Darla, Darin and Troy, with whom she had a very special bond. She spent her life in the Cloquet area, close to her family.

Stacy was kind, compassionate, loyal, funny, easygoing, and accepting of everyone just as they were. She was a devoted mom with immense love and adoration for her children, Mike, Joey, and Cara. She was so proud of them and bragged about them to anyone who would listen. She gave the greatest hugs, and she always made sure you knew how much she loved you before you left the room or hung up the phone.

She found joy in reading, diamond painting, and "glamping" at the campground with her loving husband, Ricky, and her wonderful friends.

Stacy took tremendous pride in her job as a revenue services associate at Essentia Health and greatly admired her work friends.

Stacy is survived by her mother, Catherine Golden; husband, Ricky Beckes; children, Michael (Cassie) Lundquist, Joseph "Joey" (Ashlee) Lundquist, and Cara (Cody) Lundquist; grandchildren, Calyb and Aurora Lundquist; siblings, Gloria Golden, Darla Delaney, Darin (Trish) Golden, and Troy (Caryann) Golden; nephews, Trevor Lund and Austin and Chase Golden; her faithful golden retriever, Zeke; and numerous cousins and friends.

Stacy will join her father, Clifford "Bob" Golden, in heaven.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 29 at Nelson Funeral Care in Cloquet. Refreshments will be served throughout the service time. To leave an online condolence, visit http://www.nelsonfuneralcare.net.
