Obituary: Scott Roger Ferry

Scott Roger Ferry, 70, of Tamarack passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022, in Essentia Health St. Mary’s in Duluth. He was born Nov. 6, 1951, in Minneapolis to Merle and Doris Ferry. He was raised in Pennsylvania and moved to Minneapolis, Cambridge and then Tamarack. He joined the U.S. Navy. On Aug. 3, 1996, he married Melinda Walli Bradford.

Scott worked at Link Belt as a welder and at Floodwood Services and Training. He was a member of the McGregor Victory Church, a former Farmers Cooperative board member, and a member of the Lakeside Community Clubhouse.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Mark Ferry; and sister Dianne Williams.

Scott will be missed by his wife, Melinda Ferry, of Tamarack; sons Justin Ferry of Las Vegas and Lonnie (Tiffany) Bradford of Sartell; daughters Sarah (Sway) Ferry Lenz of Minneapolis and Heather Bradford of Duluth; five grandchildren, Dillon Ferry, Eleanor Lenz, Layton Bradford, Orrin Bradford and Alan Bradford; brothers Merle (Kathy) Ferry of Chalfont, Pennsylvania and Michael (Patty) Ferry of Americus, Georgia; sister Patricia (David) Johnson of Meadowlands; brother-in-law Tad (Birdie) Walli of Tamarack; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation: 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Saturday, April 2, in Atkins Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th St., Cloquet. A luncheon will follow in the Fireside Room at the funeral home.
