Extension open house is May 24

The Carlton Extension team is holding a meet-and-greet 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 24 at 317 Chestnut Ave. in Carlton. Stop by the office to say hello to the staff, including new members, and take a tour or enjoy some light refreshments. New staff members include Katie Laveau, 4-H extension educator, and Mercedes Moffett, agriculture extension educator. Both grew up in Carlton County and participated in extension programs as youngsters. Ann Rust, Master Gardener volunteer coordinator, administrative specialist Tracey Hartung and Minnesota GreenCorp member Brian Heilig will also be there....
