Jon R. Misquadace Spry, 48 of the Fond du Lac Band of Minnesota, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2022 in Duluth, MN. He was also known as “Chippewa Jon” born November 11, 1973 in Cloquet.

Visitation will begin Wednesday, June 1, 2022 with a viewing at 5 p.m. evening ceremony at the Fond Du Lac Cultural & Learning Center, 1713 Mizhaki Road, Cloquet, MN 55720 . The Traditional Funeral Service will be Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 10 a.m. traveling ceremony at Fond du Lac Cultural Language & Learning Center in Cloquet. Burial will be held in Old Holy Family Cemetery. Please wear traditional clothing and/or sports jerseys to honor his journey. Please no cut flowers. Only potted plants will be allowed due to the nature of the ceremony. Memorials are preferred to Maryah Tople. Arrangements are with Nelson Funeral Care of Cloquet.
