Chris B. Balow, 51, passed away in San Diego, California on Aug. 18, 2022. He was born Sept. 24, 1970, in Cloquet, the son of Mick and Carole (Fredrich) Balow. Chris attended high school in Carlton, graduating in 1989. He attended Rochester Community College and Anoka Community College. Chris moved to Arizona soon after and worked as a golf course manager and also worked independently.

Chris was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents. He is survived by his parents, Mick and Carole Balow; sister, Shelly (Scott) Smith; brothers, Mike (Clare) Balow and Tim (Sara) Balow; nieces, Karlie, Maddie and Grace; nephews, Derek, Jordan and Brett; good friends Sandy and Brett in Arizona; and his dog, Robbie.

Visitation: 4 p.m. until the

5 p.m. memorial service Friday, Aug. 26 at Nelson Funeral Care in Cloquet, followed by a dinner in the fellowship room.
