The leaves are popping in Carlton County right now.
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is updating its fall color finder every Thursday with the latest estimates for peak fall colors across the state.
The Oct. 6 map put most of Carlton County at 75-100 percent of color. People can sign up for email or text messages with the latest update, and visit the website for campground specific information.
