College to host an 'Earth week'

Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College is hosting its annual Earth Week Celebration April 17-20. It will feature presenters, games, prizes and food.
The week opens on Monday with a feast and presentations on the role of tribal agencies and the community on climate adaptation plans to help protect the land. Tuesday activities will focus on sustainability practices. The annual research symposium will take place Wednesday. Things wrap up Thursday with a maple sap boil and maple cotton candy, along with tips on seed starting and playing lacrosse.
