Obituary: Nancy Ann Maslowski

Nancy Ann Maslowski, 79, of Cloquet passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at St. Luke's in Duluth. She was born April 1, 1944, in Esko to Hugo and Norma Johnson. She was raised and attended school in Esko, graduating in 1962.

Nancy married Gerald Maslowski on August 16, 1969, in Scanlon.

Nancy attended Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College as an adult and earned a chemical dependency counselor degree. She also owned the "Just for You" sewing business. She was a guardian ad litem in Carlton County and worked in inventory control at Black Bear Casino Resort.

She enjoyed playing solitaire, bird watching, and sketching. She was a collector of figurines, crystal bells, and Avon and PartyLite products.

Nancy was preceded in death by her son, Jason; mother, Norma; father, Hugo; mother and father-in-law, Helen and Bernard; brother Warner; and grandson Joshua.

She will be deeply missed by her husband of 53 years, Gerald; daughters, Denise (Chuck Smith) Maslowski and Sariina (Eric) Kalli; grandchildren Veronica Henschel, Solana Angell, David Angell, Sierra Kalli, Chase Kalli, Kaz Maslowski and Logan Maslowski; great-grandchildren, Kyra, Rylei, Sophia, CaliBrynn, Drew, Elizabeth and Benjamin; brother Sherman (Gail) Johnson; sister, Lorraine (Bill) Brunner; and numerous friends and loved ones.
