MN burning restrictions lifted

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources lifted burning restrictions in Carlton, Cook, Lake, and St. Louis counties, effective July 3. Recent rain has reduced, although not eliminated, wildfire risk in northeast Minnesota.
This action lifts restrictions on fireworks ignited on any public or private land outside city limits, campfires and burning permits for brush or yard waste.
