Cloquet baseball team is third at state

Cloquet Truss Financial finished third at the Minnesota Sports Federation state baseball tournament last weekend in Mankato. Truss Financial won four straight games to gain the semifinal round. Cloquet had an opening 17-9 win over Morris, then defeated Hutchinson, 14-2, Alexandria, 18-7, and Little Falls, 10-0. Cloquet's lone loss was to eventual state champion LeSueur by a score of 9-8.
