Lynne Ann Roginski, 82 of Cloquet passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Dec. 10, 2023, at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth. She was born on Oct. 10, 1941, in Cloquet to Joseph and Marjorie (Scheff) Stevens. Following her graduation from Cloquet High School, she furthered her education at Macalester College in St. Paul. Love called Lynne back to Cloquet, where she was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart, Bennet Roginski, at the Presbyterian Church on May 20, 1961. They made their home in Cloquet and were blessed with three children; being a mother, and later a grandmother was a highlight of Lynne's life. She worked at Minnesota Power in Duluth for many years before retiring in October 1997. She was a lifelong member of the Presbyterian Church in Cloquet and was very active in her congregation. Lynne was a founding member of the church's sewing group and loved to quilt. Over the years, she was proud to be able to gift baskets of knitted hats and mittens, quilts and dolls to the babies born at the hospital in Cloquet. She was also a gifted gardener, with seeds seemingly only needing to be touched by her to grow into beautiful vegetables and flowers. Lynne loved to admire the wrens that would return to her gardens each summer. During the winters Lynne enjoyed traveling to warmer weather, including Florida, Arizona and California.
