    Former Cloquet- Esko-Carlton and University of Minnesota Duluth captain Karson Kuhlman recorded his first and second goals of the season in the National Hockey League over the past two weeks. Kuhlman’s first goal came March 25 as his Boston Bruins fell 4-3 to the New York Islanders in overtime.     Northwoods Credit Union and its members raised more than $9,000 for area food shelves through its latest loan promotion. The loan promotion offered up to 1 percent cash back to members on new loans. If members chose to donate part of their 1 percent to the local food shelf, Northwoods CU matched the funds up to $50 per donation.     Cloquet will celebrate its senior citizens with an event June 15 at Veterans Park. According to a proclamation by Mayor Roger Maki Tuesday, those 60 and older will be celebrated at the park at the second annual Senior Day in Cloquet with prize drawings, food and beverages, a photo booth, vendors and more.
