Homecoming for the Carlton/Wrenshall Raptors took on some deeper meaning Friday when Wesley Ward, left, and Jeshua Sjodin escorted Janae Sjodin for the crowning of the royalty in the Wrenshall gym. It's been a long journey home for Janae, who is still recovering from a car crash last spring. She returned home in October for the first time since the crash, after a long hospital stay in Duluth and then rehabilitation in Colorado. Wesley and Janae were the homecoming royalty last year, and, per custom, they crowned this year's pair, Judah Sjodin, Janae's brother, and Alexis Swanson.
