Chuck and Jim Eckman were born in rural Moose Lake on leap day, Feb. 29, in 1936. Jim, the surviving twin, misses his brother, who died in 2021, and will celebrate his first leap year birthday without him next week. Jim is 88, or, in leapling terms, 22.
