Before there were high school football playoffs, the Cloquet High School team was the "Super Bowl" conference champs in 1971. Pictured, from left, are CHS 1971 "Super Bowl" champs Mark Jenkins, Dick Eklund, Jim Johanson, Ray Poirer and Mark Milburger. Johanson was Minnesota All State and played college ball in St. Cloud. Milburger played defensive tackle at UMD with CHS teammate Pat Kubat.
