Kenneth “Ken” Holmstrand, 79, of Scanlon, Minn. passed away Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2018 in Duluth, Minn. A memorial service was scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 3 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Cloquet, Minn.

Ronald Ray Liimatainen, 89, of Esko, Minn. died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2018. Visitation is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. memorial service Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019 at the Apostolic Lutheran Church in Esko.

Sherry Lynn Defoe, 52, Cloquet, Minn. died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018. Services were held Monday, Dec. 31 at Brookston Community Center in Cloquet. Interment will be in St. Mary’s and St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Cloquet.

Wallace Steven Johnson, 70, of Cloquet, Minn. passed away Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018 at Essentia Health St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth, Minn. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019 starting at 5 p.m. at the VFW in Cloquet. Inurnment will be held in the Duluth Veterans Cemetery.
