The Carlton County Historical Society needs volunteers to help greet visitors, sell items and talk about Carlton County history at its machinery building and log cabin at the county fair in Barnum, Aug. 14-19. Volunteers are also needed to demonstrate period-relevant activities such as cooking on a wood stove, weaving, sewing, spinning, wood carving, playing a musical instrument or other period-relevant are needed for the log cabin.
