American Legion Auxiliary president Penny Buran presents coloring books on the history of the American Legion poppy to Churchill Elementary principal David Wangen for third-grade classes earlier this year. The books were also given to Washington Elementary third graders. The poppies are a tangible tribute to honor the nation's fallen heroes. Proceeds benefit living veterans and their families.
