Louis Roy Osborn, 68, of Cloquet passed away April 3, 2022, in Cancun, Mexico. He was born Aug. 27, 1953, the son of Byron and Helen (Torvid) Osborn and was a lifelong resident of Cloquet. Roy was a Class of 1971 graduate of Cloquet High School. He was an avid gardener, enjoyed traveling, and loved attending the Minnesota State Fair.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents; his brother James; and brother-in-law James Curnow. He is survived by his brother Thomas (Connie) Osborn; sisters Joann Curnow and Doreen (Tim) Miller; special friend Sharon Danielson; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 16, with visitation 12 p.m. until the 1 p.m. memorial service at Nelson Funeral Care in Cloquet. Inurnment will be held at New Calvary Cemetery in Cloquet. To leave an online condolence for the family, visit http://www.nelsonfuneralcare.net.
