Wrenshall senior Wesley Ward paid $3 because he wanted to win a goldfish by landing a ball inside one of the many glass containers. He landed four almost immediately and soon decided it was time to give someone else a chance during the activities at the Deer Park Saturday.

Wrenshall residents came together to celebrate Brickyard Days Friday and Saturday.

It was hectic, but it's worth it, Phyllis Rousseau said.

"Every town has something, a community gathering, where you can see your friends, your community, your neighbor," she said.

Organizer Jolene Johnson added she's gotten a lot of positive feedback from people.

"I feel like our community has been pushing apart, so I'm really happy this is something we can do together," she said. "Without any negative interaction. We can just come together and have fun."

Sandy, the baby camel, isn't happy when her bottle is finished but she soon forgets as a rush of people start walking by Lizzy's Exotic Adventures at the Deer Park after the parade Saturday.
