Years ago when driver’s licenses didn’t have photos on them, some friends of my dad were driving a little too fast and got pulled over by the police. The officer asked the driver for her driver’s license. She handed it to him and he just looked at the name. Her name was Jackie. So he said, “I want to see your license, not your husband’s license.” She then asked her husband for his license. He hands it over and she gives it to the police. He looks again at the name. His name was Shirley. He handed back the license, shook his head and said, “They won’t believe me if I tell them this, so just slow down and go on your way.”
