The 58th Wrong Days in Wright was well-attended last weekend, from the steak fry, pie sale, rummage sale, and bingo on Friday to the Saturday morning parade and button drawing and then sporting events and music into the night.

There will be a pop-up craft shop in Cromwell 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 20 at Cardinal Chiropractic Center. Shop and support our area artists and crafters. To be a vendor, email [email protected].

My cancer journey is now well into three months of chemo treatments and other medical procedures. Now I am being treated for an infection in my colon and blood clots in a lung. I guess all I can say is things are going well and it’s mostly a waiting game now. Thanks for all the prayers, cards of encouragement and good deeds.

The Young Old Timers dance is 1-4 p.m. on Thursday, July 27 at the Pavilion in Cromwell.

Minnesota Highway 210 remains closed between Cromwell Lake and Island Lake and should be finished by July 26. There is a detour to the north and the south; watch for signs. Then work on the box culverts on Woodbury Lake and the one over the river in Wright will start on July 31 and last for 31 days.
