It’s been a couple of weeks since I have been able to get some news into my columns. It’s not because I didn’t want to but because I just couldn’t. I was in the hospital for 12 days in July and have been taking antibiotic treatments every day since for an infection in my colon. Hopefully that is cleared up and I can now proceed with the cancer surgery. It’s been a long-haul, but I’m looking forward to a full recovery in the near future.

There was an annual Wright Co-op store meeting Aug. 2.

As far as any other news in the area, I have been out of the loop, so you will just have to ask your friends and neighbors what’s going on in the area. I am looking forward to the county fair in Barnum next week.
